Mike Cameron Representative Georgia House District 1 – Conservative – Principled

I am Mike Cameron and I am your representative in Georgia House District 1. I love our community and am honored to continue to serve as State Representative for District 1 in the Georgia General Assembly.

We live in difficult times and and we need someone to continue to represent us who is strong and resolute and can deal with the difficult issues Georgia is facing. I will continue to work hard to bring people together and do everything I can to help both Dade and Walker Counties. I am a Constitutional Conservative who believes in small government. I want to continue to serve our community and make it stronger and defend our values and beliefs as your State Representative District 1.

Defend the Constitution

Defend the Constitution. Our Constitution is under attack by the radical left who want to undermine the rights given to us by God and our Founders. I will stand against attempts to weaken or destroy the rights of Georgians.

Protect the Unborn

Protect the Innocent Unborn. I am certified as a pro-life candidate by the Georgia Life Alliance, the offical life group in Georgia recognized by National Right to Life organization. I will work to strengthen protection for unborn children.

Stand for Gun Rights

Stand for Gun Rights. I stand for the Second Amendment. I am a life member of the NRA, and I will work to protect the rights of gun owners, hunters, fishermen and protect our parks and nature areas.

Stop Human Trafficking

End Human Trafficking in Georgia. The Human Trafficking of women and children is a blight on our state. I will work to provide more resources to the Attorney General and GBI to prosecute those who traffick humans.

Protect our Senior Citizens

Protect Senior Citizens from Abuse and Fraud. As a former caregiver, I know that many senior citizens in Georgia are taken advantage of and abused. I will work to strengthen laws to protect seniors.

Promote Small Businesses

Promote Small Government and Fiscal Responsibility in Georgia. I will promote small business growth in Georgia by cutting regulations which keep businesses from being successful. I will work to make sure Georgia is fiscally sound.

Support our Farmers

Support Farmers, Agriculture and Agribusiness in Georgia. As State Representative, I will serve as a strong voice in the General Assembly for farmers and those engaged in agribusiness in Walker and Dade Counties.

HB 1 - Forming Open and Robust Minds Act which keeps Georgia Colleges from forming Free Speech Zones and allowing students free speech on all of campus, and
HB 1358 - Chairman John Meadows Act - Constitutional Carry
